KCM Products Education & Research
The Education system is the foundation of Knowledge Asset (KA) production. The pressure on the system is already overwhelming due to very high demands for qualitative, employable KAs. In order to establish repeatability and dependability on the production of employable KAs, a systemic intervention is extremely vital and the process must percolate down to early stages of education without affecting curricula based methodologies.
The Non-academic Learning Interventions (NLI) must be focused on reducing the Knowledge-Skills-Attributes (KSA) gaps leading to Continuous Improvement and Overall Development of Self (CI-ODS). Such a method requires a systemic framework to identify gaps, SWOTs, prioritize Learning Interventions, monitor the effectiveness and ensure that the learning produces the required improvement.
VipiX TCM (Talent Chain Management)
Talent Chain Management is a function of KCM framework applied to Education and Research Sector. The stakeholders of Education and Research are illustrated in the figure. Each stakeholder has a set of vital requirements from other stakeholders. VipiX TCM is a framework that systemically captures requirements, KSA inventories, analyses them in real time to arrive at Gaps, SWOTs, Prioritized non-academic Learning Interventions, CI-ODS maps and determines Learning Indices and Employability Indices for Students.
It also produces similar outputs for Faculties to enable focused Faculty Development Initiatives, monitor effectiveness of such programs, CI-ODS maps and Competency Maps. More importantly it enables Joint or Collaborative Research with others (individuals or Institutions) based on Competency Alignment and Fitment.
Corporates will be able to Search-and-Spot talent based on the KSA requirements driven by a powerful search engine. It provides a dashboard to look into talent pool at the early stages of formation so that the industry could participate in Competency build-up Initiatives of identified students and faculties for maximum benefit.
Faculty members will be able to support student development programs as they will have a dashboard to analyze every student's KSA development requirements. The academic and non-academic learning blend will produce more and more employable Knowledge Assets thus enabling multi-stakeholder satisfaction.
Third Party Training (TPT) firms can assist by way of focused talent development and reduce the gaps in KSA. Students and TPT firms will be better aligned through intelligently synchronized dashboards.
The benefits to Schools, Colleges, Universities and Governments will be immense as each stakeholder will have dashboards that provide intelligent information on demand anywhere-anytime.
